Charles Jackson:
Age 49. Native of Dayton, Ohio.
I was born by the river, in a little tent. and just like every other man,
I've been lying every since. That's what I like about comedy. I
can dig way deep into my imagination and present any falsehood
as a viably alternative reality.
I've been an entertainer since I played the lead in Hansel
and Gretel in 3rd grade. I sang solos in the pep club, and church
choir, and then at the age of 15 embarked on a career as a
musician/singer that lasted up until I just no longer looked
good in a pair of leather pants.
To me, comedy is but a song, performed without music. I used to
make women wet their panties when I sang, now I can make them do
it when they laugh too hard.
When the time allows, I study comedy with the master, Greg
Dean's Standup Comedy Workshop. It's taken me to the Sunset
Blvd. Comedy Store, and to the Improv as a finalist in the
Cedric The Entertainer Comedy Revue.
